The island -

WALKS

Imagine walking in silence and solitude, along the rocky coast and the Mediterranean wild bush vegetation, while flocks of sea gulls fly above your head, accompanied only by the tranquil undertones of the sea!

This experience is possible only 30 minutes of traveling from the neurotic lifestyle and terrible loud noises of daily living.

Giannutri is nicknamed the island of sea gulls because the sea gulls remain on the island during the winter season, and nest in spring before departing during the month of July.

It is very emotional and fascinating to have the opportunity to watch the migrating preparations of the large flocks of birds that pratice for hours and hours prior to making that definite migrant flight to faraway lands.

The birds return during the month of November.
